This is the third T/A that I've owned. The first one I bought in North Carolina when I was stationed in Ft.Bragg. It was a '79 red on red with a 403, 6.6. Since the dealer didn't have the one I was looking for, I decided to wait. Two months later, a 1977 SE appeared, but the guy said it was sold the same day, so I was too late. The second one was a '79 SE with gold interior which I have a picture of, but my ex wife is on the hood. I found it in a used car dealership with no spoilers, and the quarter panel was damaged, so I took it home for 500 dollars. I fixed it up and drove it for 3 years before I sold it for personal reasons. When I moved to Pennsylvania to work in a boot camp for teenagers, I went to a car show in Maryland and saw a few T/A's, so I got hungry for one again. My son saw one in town and showed me the location of the car. I talked to the owner, he said he was selling it to buy a Mustang, so that's how I was lucky enough to have it now and it is not going anywhere soon.
