This car is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Y84 Special Edition with 17 options including the very rare T/A 6.6 W72 400ci and the Borg Warner 4spd transmission. Along with the mandatory WS6 performance package making it 1 of 1107 built. This car was built on May 29,1979 at the Norwood, Ohio assembly plant. It was shipped on June 14,1979 to Whitaker auto storage where it sat until July 08,1979 and shipped to Mike Higgins Pontiac in Cincinnati, Ohio and sold Sep 19,1979 to Ronald Toller with 27 miles for $10,096.66.Ronald kept it until March 25,1982 and sold it to Ronnie Blallard with only 5900 miles on the odometer. Ronnie kept it for 13 years and sold it to my dad late 1995 at Walmart with 121,00 miles for only $900 dollars. My dad kept it until 1998 and sold it to his friend Doug with 123,000 miles. In 2000 before moving to Florida Doug sold it back to my dad with 129,000 miles. In 2006 before being sold again I decided to buy it off my dad for $7500 with 135,000 miles. Although this will take some time being only 15 working at Krojer its well worth it. To date it has very little Ohio winter rust and a complete PHS documentation and the original build sheet with all the Pontiac dealer forms.
